Lots and lots and LOTS of blame to go ’round.

Haven’t seen any constructive responses yet; don’t have any of my own to offer.

    Apologies, world.

Just wrapping my head around the ~billion survivors of sexualized violence being reminded that their rapist can do anything.

Thank you for the list of suicide hotlines. Too bad there is none here I live or is that lived?

    Hi Lilith,

Thank you for the list of suicide hotlines. Too bad there is none here I live or is that lived?

I think it’s more that their offices are located in those areas. Any hotline should provide service regardless of where you are.

This whole election has been triggering and it’s honestly a gut punch today. I was right never to accuse my abusers.
I am sad and angry and embarrassed and frightened, alternating with numbness, my hands keep losing all feeling.
    Thanks for opening this thread.

I honestly don’t know what more I could have done. I was in a hospital for multiple months from before the national conventions to well after them. I was living out of the States for the whole election cycle, only visiting for a couple days at a time, and not that many visits – only one in September/October. And my vote itself? Well, as an “Overseas” citizen it is counted in Oregon, which did, in fact, go Clinton. I feel incredibly disempowered.

Now I don’t want to talk about the election or Trump, but I can’t seem to get my brain anywhere else.

    Yuk.

I for one wondered/worried about you – glad to see you back, and hope you’re recovering well!
