The Endorsement Newt Doesn’t Want

Adultery centric dating site, Ashley Madison, endorses the cheating-prone candidate.

In my benign travels around the internet (read: porn), I have stumbled across occasional advertisements for Ashley Madison, an internet dating service geared to those who are already in a relationship. But now, the site which gets about 700,000 unique visits a month has finally found a candidate they can get in bed with, behind the backs of the other candidates of course.

The dating service recently put of a billboard proclaiming the beginning of the “Ashley Madison era”, where an admitted multiple adulturer can be the Republican front-runner.

Noel Biderman, the founder of AM, gave a statement about the billboard, “Now that Newt is the leading contender in the race for the GOP nomination, we felt compelled to make a point to illustrate how times have changed when a serial divorcee/adulterer is capturing the hearts of the American people.”

Giggity.

Let’s not forget when Gingrich told his first wife he wanted a divorce so he could marry his mistress, said wife was in the recovery room after cancer surgery. Newt’s a real class act. :-þ

    A. Fuck Ashley Madison
    B. Newt Gingrich is not capturing the hearts of the American people, just the desperate hope of the Republican Party
    C. Commenter #3, using a thorn in an emoticon is very classy. I like it.

Remember when Michael Moore sent campaign donations in the names of fictitious unseemly organizations to the candidates of 1992? Buchanan’s campaign sent him an automatically generated form letter to thank Pedophiles for Buchanan for the donation. The letter contained the phrase “you and your fellow pedophiles”. X-D

Yes, it’s true. I stole the thorn emoticon from David Marjanović and continue to use it without attribution. It’s DDMFM’s fault for not copyrighting the thorn.

Ashley Madison is an annoying spammer. I stumbled across ads in my inbox, and I’m still wondering who to despise for that. I sign up at very few sites, so it my be random spam, I suppose.

I’m highly amused at what they’ve done with Newt’s image, though.

Can I just declare what a relief to find someone who actually knows what they are referring to online. You actually understand how to carry a problem for you to mild to make that critical. More and more people must read this and understand why aspect in the account. I cannot think you’re less well-liked as you certainly have the gift.
