I have always been a fan of the US Women’s National Team because I played soccer when I was younger and they are, independent of my playing soccer, really amazing. This led to me becoming a fan of World Cup football more generally and recently fate has conspired to draw me into being a follower of Liverpool’s …

TIL: Cheerios are flammable and McKayla Maroney is awesome
I’m sick and I have a ton of work, schoolwork and job work, so here are some random things. First up, man protests the fact that General Mills supports marriage equality by setting a bunch of Cheerios on fire. And they’re so sparkly when they burn! Totally gay, if you ask me. ”Queerios” Second, McKayla …

Savant Brain Meme
I feel this way so often, I feel like I must make a base image so I can make one for every circumstance! Because I think I have felt this way about 10 times this week. The image is all Scott Adams/Dilbert “It is unfortunate that some protesters chose to obstruct the police by linking …

TAM Sunday: I give a presentation to a zillion people
I got up early to get ready to see the papers, and to make sure I was there to watch everyone else’s papers because they usually aren’t crowded. TAMmers leave in droves on Sunday before the event is over and the papers were really poorly advertised this year. There was no program, there was no …

Goodbye Uruguay
We will miss you. Diego Forlan just can’t be the only person on the team, you know. Still, they did better than I thought they would against the Netherlands. Just not good enough. If Spain doesn’t win tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll have any interest in watching the finals.
