I thought a little bit more about Thunderf00t’s rape Video and realised something.
As you all know, I am a totally trustworthy source of information and can categorically say that women cannot drive due to a variety of medical issues. As we all know women have descended from ribs and ribs have poor hand eye coordination. I mean if ribs were better coordinated they would not be so easily captured and converted into food! Pat Condell’s stances are widely pushed among racist circles because Mr. Condell speaks with of conspiracy theories of Muslims. One of his most recent statements was fear for Sweden for granting asylum to 2 MILLION Syrians. A little bit of googling and you find out that the real story was “Sweden gives 8000 Syrians Unlimited Leave To Remain and a chance to become Swedish because they are unlikely to be able to return to Syria”.
A humanitarian gesture.
Mr. Condell was more worried not about a horrific war where millions are displaced and thousands have died and we have seen the use of Chemical Weaponry but over Sweden Importing 2 Million Muslims And Destroying Themselves.
Never mind the reality. This was pushed across the Internet. This view was defended by many of his followers. I pointed out how silly it was and honestly? I got a fair amount of flak. [Read more...]
Prior to the Obstetric/Gynaecological adoption of abortion, it was one of the most riskiest procedures out there. Abortions historically have had some of the worst mortality rates and were generally a practice of last resorts.
We turned it into an outpatient procedure with an incredibly low mortality rate. There are different indications for abortions and what procedure needs to be done depending on the health of the mother and the gestational age of the foetus.
There is a large amount of quackery aimed at women that is aimed almost exclusively under the notion that it is feminist. It’s not. The adoption of medical abortion empowered women far more than the quacks. However doctors are rarely part of the dialogue, so you instead saw a massive movement to push the notion that medicine is anti-female. And many women believe in it.
Medicine doesn’t seem to have time for the patient because most doctors have massive queues of people who wish to see them. People are busy and so have to juggle patients. Not so in the private sector and indeed the Alt/Med brigade where the demand is low so they can see you for 15 to 30 minutes knowing full well there is no one being put out by the long consult.
I have always given this advice to young (younger I suppose?) men out on the pull.
Consent is vital. Yes means Yes, No Means No. And you must not push or influence consent. Yes doesn’t mean yes if you are being scary. What you think is not scary may be terrifying to someone else. Honestly? I have never used a pick up line unless trying to make someone laugh. I have found talking and “you are cute, fancy a date” to be pretty good. You get a yes or a no and you don’t sound like a weapon’s grade idiot about angels falling from heaven or any of the other nonsense that FHM or Maxim thinks will separate women from their knickers. This one is an old show. After a political battle beyond compare the Philippines finally legalised contraception.
But it is kind of chilling to watch what a society with abstinence only education and anti-abortion stances looks like at a specific level.
Trigger Warnings abound. This is a documentary on abortion with scenes of women undergoing the procedure. [Read more...]
American women have lost a great deal of freedom in the past few weeks. All across the USA various states are planning to either reduce funding to bodies such as Planned Parenthood or to try and make abortions more difficult to perform and obtain. South Dakota has passed laws to reduce the period of abortion to just 20 weeks. Women have to undergo a series of unnecessary and traumatic procedures just to decide what to do with their own bodies. Recently we have seen the rise of “stealth” pro-life and the shutting down of clinics by making other laws hard to abide by.

The most recent one being Texas. After the epic filibuster by Wendy Davis, hopes were up that women in Texas would be safe but it was not to be. Rick Perry pushed the bill through. Women in Texas are not allowed to get proper basic healthcare any more.
That’s right. Abortions are considered BASIC Obstetric and Gynaecology. The right to one is basic control over reproduction. Many of my patients have BETTER (read it and weep America) access to contraceptives, real honest sex education, family planning and abortion than Texan women. [Read more...]
