Christopher Rice – Cheney and Torture

“General Strike to end Corruption (GS) broke the news – because the US press is in a drugged stupor — that the photos Obama is refusing to release of detainee abuse depict, among other tortures, Cheney personally waterboarding al-Nashiri, Mohammed and fellow al Qaeda captive Abu Zubayda.”

I don’t know how much of this is true or not, I don’t know if Christopher Rice is being honest or not? But this makes for some very scary reading.

I am skeptical though.

See? I know torture occurred in the USA and via the extraordinary renditions. I know people were waterboarded. I know Dick Cheney defended torture.

I just don’t see him personally doing it. Maybe he was at some of these enhanced “interrogations” but personally? I don’t think Dick Cheney would be allowed to do it or even want to do it.

This would be like the President of the USA serving in a war while still being President.

Kind of like this

But if you want to read the whole thing? Here you go!

    Cheney personally waterboarding al-Nashiri

Are you kidding?? If Cheney tried to do something like that, he’d accidentally waterboard the attorney standing nearby. Remember how good a shot he was on that quail hunt? Someone who’s such a coward that they shoot captive birds would never have the guts to get that close to a really angry and scared human.

@2. thinksanddrinks : “I think Cheney should be waterboarded. For at least eight years.”

    Um, NO.

    Because torture is wrong.

(And to think some FTB commenters of the more comprehension-challenged variety have occasionally & wrongly accused *me* here of supporting torture!)

PS. Besides Dick Cheney wouldn’t last five minutes under torture I suspect – let alone eight years. Rather surprising that the man is still alive today.

WRONG, StevoR, Dick Cheney NEEDS to be tortured for the good of the nation/world. His pain is absolutely moral/not wrong because it is a deterrence against future sociopathic satanists from easily committing similar crimes against humanity. Your liberal weakness on this issue is nice but kindness won’t make the easy going use of torture any less verboten.

Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today.
