Age of Kali – Why Are You So Mad?

[warning]TW – Rape, Paedophilia, Apologetics[/warning]

Kailash locked her in a room and raped her.

She was 6.

This is terrible, this goes without saying but what happened next takes this story into the realm of madness.

Now naturally the girl’s parents made a complaint to the due authorities which in this case are the village panchayat. It’s a local level of government at a village level to help them prosecute Kailash.

Instead of registering a police complaint, the panchayat decided that to fix this problem, the victim should marry Kaliash’s 8 year old son.

And this prompted the girl’s parents to travel 250 Km to get a real goddamn policeman from Jaipur to come down to the village of Kota to sort this nonsense out.

Now you are going “god this is stupid! I sure hope the police arrested Kailash and put an end to this miserable farce after berating the village elders for being absolute shitheads”. They did do that.

After Kailash raped the victim again during the period of negotiations.

And I am sure the village elders and the various MRA who insist that India doesn’t treat victims would go “Why Are You So Mad?”.

I’m sure the MRA’s will explain how the man was the real victim in this story because—, because—, Hey look over there-an evil feminist conspiracy!
And this is the sort of society they claim is so wonderful for women.

F [is for failure to emerge] (#1) –

Mad doesn’t even begin to cover it.

How about incensed, incandescent, infuriated, enraged, or seething?

If it weren’t for the fact that I’ve heard such obscene stories before, I wouldn’t believe it possible. The only way someone could think he could get away with it is because he knows he can get away with it, that he’s in a country that allows or even encourages it.

The only not-bad thing I see in this horrifying story is that the parents of the little girl were not willing to accept the bullshit ‘solution’ of the Panchayat. Glad to see that they had the best interests of their child at heart and fought to get justice for her.

S Mukherjee, what about the fact that the police actually did arrest the scum? That’s pretty damned not-bad.
