Firstly? It Implies that there is some sort of war where women “Need” protecting by us macho men when it often is women who need protecting “From” us macho men.

Soldiers Wanted? More like money wanted.

It’s just after the Delhi rape and is clearly an attempt to release an advertising campaign based on “protecting” women in the aftermath of the Delhi Rapes and it plays to a lot of the emotions that are running wild at this point.

Ultimately it looks like Gillette is utilising a horrible tragedy in order to sell more razors for profit rather than any genuine drive to help women.
