There are adult cartoonists who don’t do as well.
My son started doing graffiti when he was about 10.
Tweny-five years later and he’s a graphic animator for ESPN with two Emmys.

Those are wonderful.
Artists have a rule of thumb that “everyone has 10,000 bad drawings in them”. The more you just keep drawing, the sooner you get past your 10,000 bad drawings and get into the good stuff.
Cubist:
We do? That’s news to me. That also contains an implication that the drawings aren’t good. I think most people would disagree with that one.

The artist was suitably proud, especially when people slowed down do see them better.
I’m constantly amazed with her, because I couldn’t get get the proportions and movements right with pencil and paper*, much less at this size.
*Funny thing is that I am actually able to turn stuff into 3D objects with a sewing machine…
