    I finally had a good crowd of honeybees on the wildflowers in my yard last summer so I didn’t mow that area until the flowering was over.

    Tough luck neighbors, honeybees are more important to me than your esthetics.

    Absolutely. The sooner people get over wanting every last inch of space around them groomed into oblivion, the better.

    Gorgeous shots. Especially that first one.

    I see Charly nailed the sweet spot on the zoom where macro focusing still works, and managed to work the depth of field just right. (Why can’t Nikon put in a hard stop at that zoom point when in macro, or, at least, program in a pause at that zoom level?)

    Also should add, it really isn’t easy to push the P900 to do macro that well. It just wasn’t designed for it. Getting shots that good with that equipment is really impressive. Gotta love that magnification, though! That’s one advantage of the system.
