  1. Ice Swimmer says

Are the first two fuchsias (in Finnish, we call them verenpisara, which means drop of blood or blooddrop). My late grandma usually grew deep red ones in the summer on our summer cottage.

The colours feel refreshing. Could some autumn light (shining more sideways) be seen in the pics?

Ice Swimmer, the first two are of the same fushia floret, just taken with two different auto focus moments. The last one is a Geranium and the middle one is a Hippeastrum. Autumnal light is definitely present, although time of day is important to get some flowers at our place out into the full sun as we have lots of trees. The first two would have been mid morning and the last two mid afternoon. Day temperatures are starting to drop in height and frequency although today and tomorrow are still forecast to reach 34°C.
