That one made me crumple. The one of the boy holding the sign “If you build a wall, my generation will knock it down” made me smile through those tears.

I was at the march in DC. (More like a shuffle, really.) I have never seen so many people so angry, yet at the same time clearly enjoying one anothers’ company. Some of my favorite signs:

“I’m not usually a sign type of girl, but jeez!”

    “Free Melania”

(with picture of Princess Leia) “Ivanka, honey, he’s Darth Vader. How about you be a good princess?”

I was really struck by Vulva La Resistance, too. I also like seeing all the older people, which just proves that discrimination (or being a social justice warrior) is not an age thing, but an attitude.

“My arms are tired from holding this sign since the 1960’s”

I am somewhat encouraged by the size (and number!) of the demonstrations.
