I like the third one best. It is so interesting how the crystals of ice have formed.

The hoar frost spikes make the heart post incredibly romantic.

This set has a old feel to it, kind of bittersweet but beautiful.

Well, in absence of the sea, I’m more for the filigrane motifs.

They were all taken on New Year at my friends’ place. He complained about me taking pics of his not tidy garden. I told him this wasn’t “not tidy”, it was pitoresque

Sadly, that is not my photo, but there’s a lot of photos of the sea+ice appearing these days.
Also a promise of the aurora borealis, but only if we luck out with clear skies tonight.
And I like your filigree. :) Picturesque is the right word, you can assure your friend that his unkempt garden is just perfect.

I got the clear skies, you bring the Northern Lights. I’ve only ever seen them once. We didn’t even know what we were seeing until we heard it in the news the next day that this was an extremely rare occurence

I’ll be checking the skies intermittently, and trying out the camera phone (HAHA) so I might have some blurry photos of what could maybe possibly be a northern light (if you squint really hard) for y’all to ‘enjoy’. ;) I know the soapbox camera was decent because you could set it to a 30 second exposure, but I haven’t got ’round to fixing the latest lens issues yet (it’s been two years), so it’s the phone camera or nothing (can’t wait for February, my mum’s bringing me back my brother’s old digital SLR that he doesn’t need any more, fun times ahead!!!).
