Atheists, Homosexuals, and Transgender Individuals, oh my!

Alabama’s anti-gay state Supreme Court judge blamed “atheists, homosexuals and transgender individuals” for his legal troubles during a Wednesday press conference, AL.com reports.

“We’re in a serious time in our country. We are at a time in our country when people who just a few years ago would have been ascribed a mental illness, a mental disorder,” he said. “When I started in 2013, if that would have happened then, this person and the people around her… would have been said to have a mental disorder… Today that person is violating and has violated a court order and is now bringing complaints against the chief justice.

Shortly after the Supreme Court’s June ruling, Moore declared the high court doesn’t have the authority to define marriage because of beliefs that God created marriage. He said in July that he believed same-sex marriage was legalized by people being influenced by Satan.

Moore is being represented by Mat Staver, a religious activist attorney from the Liberty Council, which also represented the anti-gay Kentucky clerk, Kim Davis.

For every person who is found to be saying “why, back in my time” or “call me old-fashioned” or similar – do the world a favour, retire. Go someplace quiet, and leave the rest of us to move on.

It is becoming obvious that the ones with the REAL mental illness are Roy Moore and his ilk. They have a view of the world that can be described as “fantasy”. They hear voices that are not there, and they attribute completely natural events to demons and evil people. With every press conference and interview, they are proving how out of touch with reality that they are.

And a good reason why Liberty and any affiliations it has should be scooped up wholesale and deposited on the moon or somewhere else where they have no influence on the policies and actions in this country.

The mildly deranged penguin says that whilst the Massive Orbital Cheese Vault (acronym spelled Moon due a typo on a clay tablet) is proof against many things, she’s very unkeen on risking the cheese stored therein. These loons seem to poison anything they are near — they seem to emit L- (loony), H- (hate), A- (authoritarian), FOOM- (frothing out of mouth), and various other -rays, as well as seriously warping reality — and it seems unnecessarily risky to the cheese.

It might require a mad man in a battered blue police box to repair the damage.

I’m just constantly amazed at how much power atheists, homosexuals and transgender individuals have over yonder in the US of A. Must be a genyu-wine gay-topia over there!

So much wrong on multiple levels…

When I started in 2013, if that would have happened then, this person and the people around her… would have been said to have a mental disorder… Today that person is violating and has violated a court order and is now bringing complaints against the chief justice.

So a chief justice thinks people with mental illness should not be allowed to bring complaints against the court.

So a chief justice thinks people with mental illness should not be allowed to bring complaints against the court.

He also thinks that people would have been tossed into an institution for being gay or transgender in 2013. Out of touch doesn’t begin to describe him.
